Nationalist Republican Military Orders

        Perhaps partly due to the fact that the Nationalist forces were involved in many internal struggles as well as external wars (versus the many warlords, the Japanese invaders during WWII,  and the communist forces), they have, overtime, created a rather large number of military orders. As soon as the Nationalists took control of the country in 1929, it issued regulations which created the Order of Blue Sky and White Sun and the Order of Precious Tripod, thus replacing the military orders of the early warlord-dominated Republic.  In 1930's, The Order of Cloud and Banner, the Order of 10 Anniversary of the Northern Expedition, and the Order of National Glory and the Air Force Order of Renaissance and Honor were added.  Then in 1940's, the Order of Loyalty and Valor and the Order of Loyalty and Diligence, the four Air Force orders, viz., the Order of Grand Harmony, the Order of Cosmic Diagram, the Order of Book of Nature, and the Order of Sublime Commencement, as well as the general Order of Victory were instituted.  Some of the more important ones are illustrated and described here.
